Official opening of the Domus Sancti Lazari in Jerusalem
The 'Domus Sancti Lazari', located at 12 Maronite Convent Street in the Old City of Jerusalem, will be officially opened as the magistral seat of the Order during Easter Week of 2017 by the 50th Grand Master, HRH Prince Sixte-Henry de Bourbon-Parme.
Members and friends of the Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem – including those of other historical branches – are welcome to join the celebrations, which will include opportunities to visit the holy places of Jerusalem and the tomb of Saint Lazarus in Bethany. Senior clergy from various Christian Churches and diplomatic representatives from several countries are expected to participate over the period of 19-22 April.
Since many people long to spend Easter in the actual places where Our Lord suffered, died and rose again, hotel accommodation particularly in the days preceding our assembly can be difficult to arrange. In case of problems with booking a hotel in the Old City, local assistance is available from Ms Nili Berg, our Coordinator in the Holy Land. Please in any case register your participation as soon as possible and direct all enquiries to Nili at the Domus:

A warm welcome is assured, as we mark the start of a new period in the Order’s life in the Holy City where it began.
